Scholarships and Student Financial Aid

CVEP provides Pathways to Success scholarship to students by matching scholarship funds with local nonprofits to increase college access and completion for low-income students. CVEP also promotes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the most important application for students to complete to be considered for free federal funding for college, including scholarships from colleges and universities, and low-interest government loans.

Matching Partners

Pathways to Success links scholarship-giving organizations and student support systems in the Coachella Valley through a regional scholarship application network. In partnership with the College Futures Foundation (formerly College Access Foundation of California), CVEP provides matching funds to local organizations to increase college access and completion for low-income and underserved students. CVEP promotes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) — the most important application for students to complete to be considered for free federal funding for college — and the Cal Grant, awarded to eligible college students attending California colleges and universities.
